The volume of business transacted on the Stock Exchange yesterday broke all previous records. The total sales of the day aggregated 3,786,111 shares, compared with a previous high record of 3,448,747 on Nov. 10, last year. Yesterday was the seventh three-million-share day in the history of the Exchange.
